CompTIA Linux+

Description

CompTIA's Linux+ is a new certification developed in response to demands for a skills-assessment mechanism for Linux system administrators. CompTIA's Linux+ certification measures vendor-neutral Linux knowledge and skills for an individual with at least six months of practical experience. Linux continues to make huge inroads into mainstream IT infrastructures, proving itself to be an economical and practical server solution for everyday tasks.

Entrance Requirements

To ensure your success, we recommend you first have 6 months of experience with any operating system and basic computer skills. Ideally they will have passed both A+ exams or have equivalent knowledge.

Examinations and Assessments

Learners write the CCS IT examination, the pass mark for which is 60%. Learners may elect to write the International Microsoft examinations at CCS’s Authorized Prometric Testing Centre. The costs for International exams are not included in the course fees.
